I am just starting out, trying my hand at screenwriting and I find myself getting confused as to the differences between the formatting styles in which each draft of a script should be written.
For example, I know that a first draft would not have numbers next to each scene, that seems to be sort of a production level script, and that in an initial draft calling out specific shots is a no-no.
I guess what I really need to know is what

I'm a newbie so I expect this question to be viewed as dumb. However, the problem is greater than my ego. So, I have FD7 and I have afinished script but I want to change a scene in it. It's about a half page longer than the original. Which means that from page 35 to the end the pagination (is that the correct term for this?) is screwed.
